Summer Blooms at Waterville Valley is an annual and sustainable planting partnership program of The Rey Cultural Center Margret’s Hat Gardening Group and Dreamscape Hospitality.
Summer Blooms at Waterville Valley has three goals:
- Increase color and vibrancy in the Valley for the spring and summer season
- Connect and grow the community of growers and gardeners in the Valley
- Raise money to fund and grow the annual Summer Blooms program and related projects
Beginning in the late spring of 2023, Summer Blooms at Waterville Valley will plant and deliver over 120 planted barrels of red geraniums. The planted barrels will be placed around the valley adjacent to the Rey Center tended gardens and at sponsoring businesses and residences around town. Summer Blooms will also plant small, tasteful, in-ground landscapes (annuals and perennials) at selected signs and locations.
Barrel Sponsorship
Business and Residents can sponsor one or more barrels at $150 per barrel. They can choose to display the barrel(s) in front of their home or business and/or sponsor barrels in more public locations. Barrels will be delivered within the Valley and maintained for the course of the season and then retrieved and stored until reused for Winter Lights at Waterville Valley.
Garden Sponsorship
Summer Blooms is also seeking sponsorships for the multiple in-ground gardens that will be installed in the Valley as part of the program. Sponsors will receive recognition with sponsor signs in the gardens and mentions on our print, website, and social media campaigns.
